Design Associate
We are looking for a passionate and driven designer to join our team. As a designer, you will play a key role in leading the conceptualisation and execution of our brand and design philosophy across various consumer touchpoints. This is an opportunity to create intuitive user experiences, emotive brand identities, and impactful marketing campaigns while driving design excellence.
You will:
- Lead design and development of graphic assets across digital and physical mediums: web banners, email templates, packaging, brand and event collaterals
- Own packaging and print production: create 2D mockups, typography, layouts, illustrations, and prepare print-ready files with proper dielines and bleeds
- Build and evolve consistent brand identity across all touchpoints for Grain and other virtual brands
- Establish and maintain design systems, file management protocols, and workflow documentation
- Participate in design reviews, drive creative direction, and optimize workflows
- Research and implement design trends and best practices to elevate brand presence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, operations) to deliver strategic design solutions

Skills & Qualifications
- Strong foundation in graphic design principles (typography, grid systems, color theory)
- Solid understanding of packaging and print production processes
- Portfolio that demonstrates process-driven thinking, including at least one real-world packaging or print project
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to organise file management
- Basic motion-graphics skills for digital campaigns
- Experience or coursework in photography/videography
- Minimum 1 year of experience
Technical requirements:
- Must-have: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Rapid Prototyping, Lightroom
- Good knowledge: Figma, Premiere Pro, After Effects
- Nice-to-have: 3D design (Rhino, Blender)
