Junior R&D Chef
Your mission is to develop food and products with pride and passion to set new standards for the industry. You should consider yourself an individual with high standards, amazing product sense and a well-developed palette.
Responsibilities
Development of dishes, food products, and product packaging.
Food costing calculations.
Procurement and verification of new ingredients.
Food preparation and general maintenance of the R&D kitchen.
Assist in Menu development.
Assist in managing timelines of projects.
Assist in training sessions with the kitchen team.
Requirements
2 years of kitchen experience.
Bilingual would be a bonus (to communicate with different teams).
Flexibility in working hours when needed.
A curious mind.
Believes in getting the job done well, NOT just getting the job done.
Lots of initiative to get things done, someone who takes ownership.
Willing to do mad experiments, dream big and execute big.
Background or qualification in food science (bonus).
Experience in fine dining (bonus).
